EMIN is a business support network that was founded by a collaboration of Universities over 11 years ago. It is able to provide a portfolio of business incubation services to both member centres and the community of new start businesses alike through its range of online services. From access to specialist, professional services through to mailing lists; information sources to peer support; EMIN helps new start businesses to survive and thrive.
With direct access to a wealth of University expertise EMIN helps to engage businesses with schemes that offer the potential to grow by accessing graduate internships, student placements or project testing for example.
EMIN also holds a significant track record in effective management of large scale funded projects – notably those involving multiple partners in enterprise and entrepreneurship support. By way of example, EMIN currently manages a multi-project aimed at supporting nearly 450 graduates into sustainable self employment.
