Sparkhouse Studios, Lincoln's incubation centre for fledgling media and creative companies, is situated on the University of Lincoln's Brayford campus. The centre is capable of housing up to 18 companies in an environment that provides access to the support services, knowledge and facilities needed to help new businesses survive the early years. Sparkhouse Studios targets businesses that wish to establish themselves in creative, media, technology or related sectors.
Sparkhouse Studios was recently recognised as a Best Practice Incubator by the East Midlands Development Agency and has already been similarly accredited by UK Business Incubation.
Facilities
The physical infrastructure of the centre includes modern office units with broadband internet access and a digital telephone system, networking areas, reception area/facility, access to specialist equipment (e.g.: television studios and editing suites) and two meeting rooms (both kitted out with plasma screens and full associated AV facilities).

- Mentoring
- Finance / financial packaging services
- Training / seminars / workshops
- Networking opportunities between tenants
- Access to specialist support (e.g.: legal and technical advice).
The Sparkhouse Virtual Office
This package of support is open to all business sectors and types of organisations. The Sparkhouse Virtual Office allows you to pick the package that's best; from using the centre as your registered address to having your own unique telephone number answered in your organisation's name (with messages passed on by email, text or phone) to accessing meeting room space and other assets.
Hot desks
