The Hive
The Hive is a fertile environment for the germination of high-growth, creative, knowledge, science and technology-based start-up enterprises, and assists with the harnessing of the resources of incubation to support the creation of business winners.
The Hive is located on The Nottingham Trent University campus in Nottingham City Centre.
The Hive focuses on pre-start and early growth businesses, and particularly those created by postgraduates and staff of the university.
Facilities
The Hive puts business ideas through an in-depth 'opportunity evaluation' process, enabling participants to investigate the market, foster a network of business contacts and, where positive potential exists, to start up a company.
In the role of a germinator, rather than as a business incubator, The Hive allows participants to concentrate on refining an initial idea into a workable concept able to attract serious financing.
