Success in Marketing and Sales will be covered by three experts in the latest of the University of Derby’s series of ‘innovation breakfast’ meetings.

The event from 7.30am-9.30am on Thursday 26 June at the University’s site in Kedleston Road, Derby, will be the latest aimed at giving small and medium-sized company leaders an insight into different aspects of business. It will be run in partnership with Derby City Partnership and the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber.

Speakers will include:

  • Richard Mayer, Programme leader for Chartered Institute of Marketing courses at the University of Derby
  • Martin Driver, Director of sales consultancy My Sales Director, of Ripley, Derbyshire
  • Kelly Herrick, Group Marketing Manager for Geotechnical Contractors Van Elle Ltd of Pinxton, Nottinghamshire.

The speakers will draw on their expertise and knowledge to share practical marketing and sales tips on how to succeed.

Previous business breakfasts run by the University have looked at subjects such as how businesses interact with communities, or adapt to new technology.

Pauline Roessler – Marketing Co-ordinator for the University’s Business Development Unit, which has organised the event – said: “These business breakfasts have proved popular in the past and, with the three speakers we have booked, I have no doubt our next event will not disappoint.”

The June 26 event is free but booking is essential. Contact Pauline on 01332 591078.
