Connect Midlands' new and innovative Virtual Showcasing project is set to go live this month for a three month pilot.

The Virtual Showcase is a new concept for Connect Midlands, and gives investment-ready companies the opportunity to be filmed and showcased online for investors to view.

Participating companies are given 60 seconds to provide an overview  of their offering (in the form of an elevator pitch) for investors to view online, before giving a more detailed five minute insight, covering the business, the team and financial requirements in more detail.

This pitch is then placed in a secure online area, which investors can log-in to and review it at any time. If an Investors is impressed by the companies pitch, they can also choose to view their business plan online.
 
This new online project benefits both companies and investors alike; allowing businesses to reach a number of serious investors without even leaving the office, and allowing busy investors to filter and view investment-ready companies in their specific area of interest, at any time.
 
Five companies have already filmed their presentations for the Showcase, with a further five due to take part in filming on April 11th at Oakslade Studios.

There are still a few spaces left for investment ready companies who wish to participate in this new project and there is currently no charge for participation during this pilot stage of the project (running until July 2008).
