Nottingham Trent University, the University of Derby Buxton and Leap Ahead are working together in partnership with business and educational providers across the region to provide new opportunities for learners to develop a range of higher level skills in heritage, tourism and conservation.
This series of short courses is designed to encourage anyone with an interest in heritage, tourism and conservation to get involved. Aimed at both beginners wanting to acquire a new skill or specialists wishing to branch out, the short courses (often no more than 2 days) will be running throughout the summer and autumn at venues as varied as the courses themselves. Fieldtrips, guest lecturers and industry expert sessions will also form integral part of the curriculum offered.
You can even use the courses as credit towards a university degree at Nottingham Trent University; the University of Derby Buxton and other universities and colleges across the region. For further information and to know more about who is involved please email Janet Elkington, janet.elkington@ntu.ac.uk.
