EMIN organises a number of workshops and business seminars, in collaboration with the eBusiness Club & Connect Midlands, which allow you to develop vital business skills and provide you with a venue for networking with other companies.

  • eBusiness workshops
    Training courses designed to help businesses in the East Midlands boost their ICT capability.

  • Amber Workshops
    Two-day intensive workshop, designed for all high growth and technology businesses seeking seed, start-up or growth
    funding.

  • Bootcamps 
    One-day masterclasses where delegates get the chance to really focus in on specific business areas with expereinced speakers
    and subject specialists.

eBusiness workshops


We are pleased to announce that, in collaboration with the eBusiness Club, we will be hosting the following FREE events for the eBusiness Club at a centre near you. 

Fairfield Enterprise Centre, Louth [where?]

Loughborough Innovation Centre [where?]

Eligibility for the eBusiness workshops:
In order to access eBusiness Programme support delivered through Business Link the SME eligibility criteria are as follows:

  1. SME Status
    Your business must be a small or medium sized enterprise (SME). An SME is defined as a business that has:

    - Less than 250 employees
    - Less than £31.8m turnover
    - Less than £28.6m of assets

  2. Located in the East Midlands region
    Your business must be located in the East Midlands region. This 'region' covers:

    - Derbyshire
    - Lincolnshire
    - Leicestershire
    - Northamptonshire
    - Nottinghamshire

  3. Trading Status
    Your business must have been trading for not less than 1 month. By 'trading' we mean that the business has received income, created expenses for purchased goods or services, or as a minimum, has a bank account set up in the name of the business.

Amber workshops


The Amber Workshop is a two-day intensive workshop, designed for all high growth and technology businesses seeking seed, start-up or growth
funding.

Working with expert speakers, delegates learn what investors really look for, how to become investment ready and how to create a viable business plan and a winning pitch.

Bootcamps


Bootcamps
are one-day masterclasses where delegates get the chance to really focus in on specific business areas with expereinced speakers and subject specialists.

Small group sizes ensure more focussed and tailored sessions where delegates have the opportunity to ask questions.
